It is of a light-grey colour with some crystals of leucite, immersed in microcrystal structure, sometimes compact and sometimes in slip-lines. Technical tests have been carried out on the stone: On the basis of uni standards it has been defined a leucotefrite with the following characteristics: Heavy compact hard with high values of compression breaking, flexural breaking test, impact test.
